SIG SAUER × AMEXCI
The first suppressor manufactured in Sweden — additively manufactured by AMEXCI for the SIG SAUER Light Machine Gun.
The story
First in Sweden. Built to scale.
In September 2026, SIG SAUER announced the first suppressor manufactured in Sweden — produced together with AMEXCI and MP-SEC International under an exclusive partnership.
Each partner has a defined role. SIG SAUER brings the product design and engineering expertise behind its global defence portfolio. AMEXCI manufactures the suppressor using industrial metal additive manufacturing at its production sites in Sweden and Finland. MP-SEC International handles assembly, testing and distribution to Nordic defence organisations and law-enforcement authorities.
The suppressor supports the SIG SAUER Light Machine Gun and the broader military modernisation programmes now under way across the Nordics — a region that serves as a critical logistics and supply hub for NATO. Manufacturing it locally adds defence-industrial capacity exactly where it is needed.
For AMEXCI, the milestone demonstrates that advanced manufacturing in the Nordics can be scaled to support future military requirements and strengthen regional defence readiness. With SIG SAUER's commitment to the region, we see this as just the beginning.
