Closing the gap to qualified serial production
There is a gap in metal additive manufacturing between a part that prints once and a part that ships, build after build, to spec. AMEXCI exists to close it — taking parts the whole way from prototype to qualified serial production.
We deliver qualified, traceable, repeatable, safety-critical parts to high-end industrial OEMs — faster, at lower risk and at an acceptable total cost. We were set up for production, not one-off prototypes, and we carry the technical depth across the full AM value chain to back that up: design for AM, qualification, printing and post-processing. One team, two Nordic sites, and a stubborn “yes, we can” attitude toward the parts everyone else calls too hard.

Our story
Founded by industry leaders in the Nordics
AMEXCI was created by a group of major Nordic industrials to make metal additive manufacturing work for real — at production scale, not just in pilots.
AMEXCI started its journey in Karlskoga in 2017, founded by leading Nordic industrial companies as a shared vehicle to accelerate their adoption of additive manufacturing. The idea was simple: pool the expertise and the demand of major industrials so the technology could be industrialised for real.
In 2021 we established our subsidiary in Tampere, Finland — bridging Swedish and Finnish industry even closer together and giving customers across the Nordics a partner on both sides of the Gulf of Bothnia.
What began as an accelerator for industrial implementation has grown into a trusted partner for industrialization — taking parts the whole way from design and qualification to repeatable serial production. At the end of 2024 we moved into a new, purpose-built factory in Örebro, bringing our production together under one roof.
Today our focus is to grow — and to act, every day, in accordance with our vision and mission.
